Durham Garden Forum: Stormwater Practices

North Carolina places a top priority on protecting and enhancing our abundant water supply. Mitch Woodward, Watersheds and Water Quality area specialized agent of Wake County Extension Center, will outline the innovative programs and research he is pursuing to meet this goal. He will review how home gardeners can improve water quality in their own backyards. The forum, an informal group that's independent of Duke Gardens, meets once a month to enrich its members' gardening knowledge and skill. Sponsored in partnership with the N.C. Cooperative Extension: Durham County Center. For membership information, email durhamgardenforum@gmail.com. Meet in the Doris Duke Center. No pre-registration necessary.
