"Lakay" (Home) Poetry Night w/ Joel Francois

Join us for a performance by NYC-based storyteller and slam poet Joel Francois around the theme of "lakay," the Haitian Creole word for home. We will be accepting book donations for Story Lab at Duke's Book Drive for Caribbean Libraries at the door!

This event is organized by Duke Students of the Caribbean Association (SOCA) in conjunction with Spoken Verb, Duke's Department of African & African-American Studies, Duke Black Student Alliance, the Duke Haitian Student Alliance, and Story Lab at Duke.
