Do You Belong to You? The Uncertain Past, Present and Future of DNA Ownership
Misha Angrist trained in genetic counseling and human genetics. He is Associate Professor of the Practice in Duke's Social Science Research Institute and Sanford School of Public Policy, and a Senior Fellow in its Initiative for Science & Society. He was among the first people to have his whole genome sequenced and made public as part of the Personal Genome Project and Open Humans Foundation. His book, Here is a Human Being, chronicled this experience. In August 2016 he became editor-in-chief of Genome magazine.
