DukeCreate Workshop: Ceramics

This workshop will introduce a primitive technique that has been used to make clay vessels by many cultures for centuries. Through demonstration and practice you will create pinch pots which can be carved, and have other clay shapes added to or designs inscribed upon them. These are small pots (bowls) and are made quickly, so you will have an opportunity to make at least two during the workshop.
