Brain Health Conference to launch NC Registry for Brain Health

The NC Registry for Brain Health is supported by a recurring $1.2 million appropriation through the NC General Assembly. The funding is intended to provide all adults (18+) across the State of NC, particularly underserved and underrepresented communities, access to information about 1) AD resources/ services & 2) enrolling research opportunities within the partnering institutions: Duke, UNC-CH, Wake Forest University, ECU, & NCA&T. The registry is open to all people, with or without memory problems, who are interested in learning more about Alzheimer's disease and getting involved in research that will advance new approaches and treatments to treat and prevent these types of memory disorders.
