At the conclusion of this lecture, the attendees will be able to:

* Identify current morphologic classification criteria for pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors
* Become familiar with treatment strategies for different types of pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors
* Describe common genetic alterations in different types of pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors
* Familiarize themselves with current issues in the classification of pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors as relates to diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment
