What Are My Students Thinking?
Do you wonder if your students' faces reveal their interest in that day's lecture or reflect the reality that they are totally lost? This interactive session will introduce techniques to use on a daily basis to gauge students' understanding of the materials. Short interventions such as polls, think/pair/share, case studies, muddiest point papers, checklists, and exam wrappers help you target concepts that need more explanation and reveal how and what your students are learning. Lunch will be provided.
