Professor of African & African American Studies Mark Anthony Neal joins three creatives to discuss what it means to be an independent black female artists. Dr. Neal will be speaking with: Candy Carver, visual artist; Natasha Powell, visual artist; Natalie Bullock Brown, filmmaker.
