Mid-Autumn Festival 2019
Sponsor(s): Asian Students Association (ASA)
The Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, is celebrated annually by many East and Southeast Asian cultures, as a time for family and friends to come together and give thanks. It lands on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, marked by a full moon at night.
Duke Asian Students Association (ASA), Chinese Student Association (CSA), and Singapore Students Association (SSA) are bringing the festivities to campus with lots of delicious food (including mooncakes - traditional pastries filled with sweet bean paste and/or egg yolk), cultural games and activities, and live performances! Come out and celebrate with us!
