A Reception for #RefugiARTE
Join the Duke Center for International Development (DCID), the Duke University Center for International and Global Studies (DUCIGS), and the Sanford School of Public Policy for a reception for RefugiARTE!
RefugiARTE is an exhibition of editorial cartoons from Latin American artists that reflects the journey of people fleeing conflict and persecution, often risking their lives, travelling by land or sea to reach safety. Editorial cartoonists are powerful opinion makers in our society. They use their humor to express their commitment to human rights causes, the fight against xenophobia and ensuring that all cultures and freedoms are respected. This exhibition conveys their support to people forced to flee.
The art featured in this event promotion is by Anabella González from Argentina.
