A reception for artist John Tempest will be held in the Bryan Center on Friday, January 24th from 5:30-7:30pm. John will be installing an extremely large painting in the Bryan Center near Reynolds Theater titled Trichometric Universality. The artist dedicated this painting to his father, Gerard F. Tempest. He will also be installing a portrait of Fred Von Canon that was commissioned by his wife, Elizabeth Von Canon, in 1983.
