Pratt master's students may register for this workshop at wconline.pratt.duke.edu. This workshop is a part of the Pratt Master's Professional Development Program.

In this theater performance, attendees will observe a scene involving social conflicts and then have an opportunity to discuss the scenewith the characters to explore the implications of conflicts and how to manage conflictin ways that promote equity and inclusion while supporting open dialogue.

Facilitator Bio: Theater Deltauses Interactive Theater -scripted and improvisational audience participatory theater -to foster dialogue and implement solutions that result in a palpable change in communities around the globe. Theater Delta operates on a pedagogy that recognizes when participants engage characters and conflict, and subsequently take part in a dialogue where they process the issues, they are more likely to change personal attitudes and behaviors.

Theater Delta uses interactive theater for social change with a wide range of communities. In 6 years, they have worked with over 100 Clients and conducted over 375 performances and workshops for over 65,000 audience members. They have collaborated withorganizations such as the German Corporation for International Cooperation, the International Finance Corporation, Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, INC, the U.S. Army, the World Bank Group -as well as universities across the United States.
