As data science continues to penetrate new markets, data scientists have the opportunity to be uniquely impactful by bringing their skill set to workplaces that have not benefited from such expertise.
Non-traditional data science havens, late adopters, and various start-up enterprises represent a set of employment experiences that are distinct from what one might find in established data science infrastructures.
This talk will explore the features, bugs, and richness that such opportunities bring as well as touch on some key ideas involved in landing jobs in this space.
