AAHVS Arpeggio Graduate Student Reading Group
Graduate students are welcome to join the students of the AAHVS Department in discussing readings related to the talks to be presented at Arpeggio: Mind & Matter, symposium taking place on the 30th of March.
Readings will be associated to three talks:
Eric Varner (Emory University), "Solar Alignments: Creating Imperial Identity in Neronian Rome"
Bert Winther-Tamaki (UC Irvine), "The Matter of Earth in Japanese Ceramics, Photography, and Hole-Digging Conceptualism, ca. 1970"
Angelica Afanador-Pujol (Arizona State University), "Food for Thought: Narratives of Food and Colonization in Sixteenth-Century Western Mexico"
We will be meeting from 4:00-6:00pm in the Graduate Project Room, A255, Bay 10 on the second floor of Smith Warehouse.
