Comfort: Film Screening
A DOCUMENTARY FILM about AMERICA'S COMFORT WOMEN
Since the 1990s, the world has come to learn about the case of Japan's military comfort women but very little is known about the connections to America's comfort women. This documentary film follows a lawsuit filed against the state by over one hundred South Korean survivor-activists of the United States military camp towns and explores forgotten historical continuities across the Pacific.
Join us for a screening of the film and discussion with director Hyerin Lee.
