Thursday, April 10, 2025
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Rev. Racquel Gill and Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III
Theology Underground

Theology Underground is a series of guided conversations about how culture, identity, and race impact the way we live out our faith and beliefs. Held at the Mary Lou Williams Center, this year's series engages the intersections of theology and black literature. At each session, the Rev. Racquel Gill, the Chapel's minister for intercultural engagement, holds a public discussion with a theological leader and invites people attending to participate.

At this meeting, Rev. Gill speaks with Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III, pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, about "The Piano Lesson": African Spirituality and August Wilson."

Free dinner provided. RSVP to racquel.gill@duke.edu.
