Perinatal Mental Health: A Clinical Perspective

Dr. Elizabeth Fitelson is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at CUIMC and the co-founder and Director of the Women's and Reproductive Mental Health (WARM) Program in the Columbia University Department of Psychiatry. Her area of clinical expertise includes the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders across the female life cycle, including perinatal psychopharmacologic management, menstrual cycle and perimenopause related disorders, infertility, and pregnancy loss. In addition, she has collaborated in developing programs providing psychiatric and psychological services to survivors of intimate partner violence and sex trafficking, as well as supporting the wellbeing of healthcare workers.
