Duke's Center for Documentary Studies (CDS) is excited to introduce our DocX Residency Fellows to campus and invite you to join us for a Welcome Reception.
DocX is a CDS program dedicated to nurturing artists' thinking, exploring and questioning. The six fellows are documentary artists imagining new worlds or challenging oppressive frameworks. Their projects delve into personal and collective histories, reshaping narratives across mediums and exploring themes such as memory, identity, displacement and reclaiming joy.
The reception will be in the CDS Library (B113), 1317 W. Pettigrew Street.Come meet the fellows, mingle and enjoy light refreshments as we celebrate the start of their residency. RSVP: https://airtable.com/app5W6MMbQ0CGBQLz/pag5ABEniFbbUfnVs/form
