Join us for a 'Tell Me More' event focused on careers in public service with Secretary Eddie M. Buffaloe, Jr. Governor Roy Cooper appointed Eddie M. Buffaloe Jr., as Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Public Safety in 2021. Secretary Buffaloe serves as the sole representative on the Governor's cabinet for the state's law enforcement, corrections, juvenile justice, and emergency management responsibilities. Secretary Buffaloe also serves as Governor Cooper's Homeland Security Advisor and oversees the state's homeland security coordination.
