The Anesthesiology Drug Discovery Day is designed to provide a platform for anesthesiology faculty and trainees to facilitate the path to discover and to develop novel therapeutic candidates from newly identified targets and to advance the preclinical development to first-in-human study. At the first Drug Discovery Day (2022), we focused on concepts related to marketing and commercialization and promoted awareness of intellectual property. At the second Drug Discovery Day (2023), we addressed regulatory affair and quality assurance. This year, we will host experts from industry and academic leaders to discuss Good Laboratory Practices and the design of IND enabling studies.
