We Believe: A Duke Centennial Commonplace Event

We Believe will explore and celebrate religious and cultural diversity with opportunities for joyful experiences, generative conversations, and personal reflection. Programming will feature the themes and practices of Feasting and Fasting; Gathering and Departing; and Sound and Silence within the traditions represented by Religious Life at Duke. A robust schedule, tools for engagement, and a map of opportunities will be provided, along with a Commonplace Book and a Commonplace Passport. Participants will be invited to visit various locations, keep notes in their commonplace book, and accumulate "stamps" in their passports. Activities will begin on Sunday, November 17, and continue through Monday evening, November 18.
