Dr. Devdutta "Dev" Sangvai serves as Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and is Professor Emeritus of Family Medicine and Community Health at Duke University. A physician, attorney, and healthcare leader, Dr. Sangvai is widely recognized for his work advancing healthcare delivery, health policy, and population health across North Carolina.
