The Stargazing Devils are hosting a special stargazing session on Wednesday, August 12th from 9 PM to 11 PM -- back up dates on August 13th or 14th --for the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks August 12th and 13th.
Under clear, dark skies, watchers can expect to see roughly 50 to 100 swift, bright meteors and colorful fireballs per hour. The display is created as Earth passes through debris from the comet Swift-Tuttle. Source - NASA
