Accelerating to Net Zero: Analytics for the Energy Transition

The rapid advancements of analytics, including AI, machine learning, and optimization algorithms, offer tremendous opportunities to expedite global decarbonization efforts. Professor David Brown, Faculty Director of the Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE), will describe the development of state-of-the-art analytic methods for improving the efficiency and reliability of electric utilities. He will also explore related critical challenges and opportunities for analytics and algorithms in driving the energy transition.
