APSI Summer Book Club 2024: Invitation to a Banquet

APSI's summer book club is back by popular demand. This year, Professor Eileen Chow begins our three-book sequence with Fuschia Dunlop's Invitation to a Banquet: The Story of Chinese Food, a book the New York Times called "a cultural investigation of an impossibly broad and often misunderstood cuisine." Dunlop, a Cambridge-educated English writer and cook, has spent more than 30 years learning about Chinese food, and her journey and discoveries are contained in this volume.

The discussion will take place online, so members of our community near and far are welcome to join.
