Botany Spotlight: Ferns

Join assistant horticulturist Isaac Lund to learn about the various botanical features of ferns using native species from the Blomquist Garden. This class will introduce participants to terminology and characteristics used for field identification, as well as to introductory information about fern biology and ecology. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of these concepts and familiarity with several of our Southeast ferns in the landscape. Class time will be split between learning indoors and an outdoor field session in the Gardens.
