Conjunto Breve

Multinational salsa band Conjunto Breve was founded by percussionist Brevan Hampden in 2012. Members of the band come from all corners of the Americas, including Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and the United States. Mixing the sounds of New York-style salsa and Cuban salsa, Conjunto Breve's members have played celebrated salsa musicians, including Celia Cruz, Tito Rojas, and Luis Enrique.

Since 1994, Music Maker Foundation has worked to meet the day-to-day needs of the artists who create traditional American music, ensure their voices are heard, and give all people access to our nation's hidden musical treasures.
