Duke Surgery's 6th Annual Research Day

To recognize the research accomplishments of our trainees and to foster further accomplishments, the Section of Surgical Disciplines is sponsoring its 6th Annual Research Day on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

All fellows, residents, and students engaged in clinical or basic/translational research through the Section of Surgical Disciplines are encouraged to participate and will be excused from clinical responsibilities.

Top clinical and basic/translational abstracts will be selected for oral presentations at a morning symposium featuring Guest Judge and Surgery Grand Rounds Speaker Dr. Hasan B. Alam, Chair of the Department of Surgery, Northwestern Medicine.

The presenter of the best talk in each category will receive an award. In addition, there will be a poster session with the selection of the best poster for an award.
