A Primer on Multilevel Models
Sponsor(s): Psychology and Neuroscience
Multilevel models are incredibly flexible tools that can handle complex data, increase power, and offer insights into psychological processes. This brief workshop will give a conceptual overview of these models and how they can be used to answer important research questions. We will give examples of the kinds of study designs multilevel models allow for, focusing primarily on experiments where participants respond to multiple stimuli. Finally, we will provide educational resources and user-friendly tools for planning studies with multilevel data structures.
