From Crisis to Catalyst: Community Health Nurses Leading the Climate and Health Response

This course explores the evolving intersection of climate change and community/public health nursing. Participants will examine current clinical updates on the health impacts of climate change, with a focus on implications for vulnerable populations and community health outcomes. Through critical analysis, learners will compare and contrast emerging priority topics in climate change research, enhancing their ability to integrate evidence-based insights into nursing practice. The course also emphasizes practical strategies for implementing and disseminating sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives within community and public health settings, equipping nurses with the tools to lead environmentally responsible healthcare efforts.
