Fountain Concert
Enjoy an afternoon of fresh creativity as students from the Duke Department of Music share their latest work in the beloved annual Fountain Concert. Set in the airy lower atrium of the Biddle Music Building-gathered around the central fountain-this informal event captures the spontaneity, camaraderie, and joy of music-making at Duke.
The program features a wide variety of student performers and ensembles, each bringing their own artistic voice to the space. Whether presenting new compositions, chamber works, solo pieces, or experimental collaborations, the performers offer an exciting glimpse into the vibrant musical life on campus. The relaxed, open setting invites listeners to move freely, listen from different angles, and experience live music in a uniquely intimate and energetic atmosphere.
A highlight of spring in the Music Department, the Fountain Concert is a celebration of student creativity and community-an invitation to pause, gather, and enjoy the sounds of Duke's emerging artists.
Free and open to the public. All are welcome.
