Dr. Nathan Sheets has been Global Chief Economist at Citigroup since 2021. From 2014-2017, Dr. Sheets served as Under Secretary for International Affairs at the US Treasury. For 17 years, he worked at the Federal Reserve Board, including as the Director of the Division of International Finance from 2007 until 2011.
