Program: Set in the historic NC Mutual Tower - an enduring symbol of Black enterprise and community vision - this evening program honors the civic imagination and philanthropic leadership of Dr. Aaron McDuffie Moore. As a founder and champion of institutions that shaped Durham's Black Wall Street, Dr. Moore helped build the social, economic, and cultural foundations that continue to define the city's identity today.

This community-focused event invites attendees to reflect on Moore's legacy through dialogue with historians, descendants, and scholars who illuminate the impact of his work on health, education, and civic life. Panelists will consider how the institutions he helped establish continue to influence Durham's development and how his commitments to service and equity resonate across generations.
