MEMS Seminar: Johann Guilleminot, "Predicting with Model Ensembles and Uncertain Parameters: A Tour of Stochastic Modeling on Constrained Spaces"
Thomas Lord Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science (MEMS), Fall 2025 Speaker Series welcomes Dr. Johann Guilleminot (Duke), to present the MEMS Seminar entitled, "Predicting with Model Ensembles and Uncertain Parameters: A Tour of Stochastic Modeling on Constrained Spaces."
ABSTRACT: Dr. Guilleminot will discuthe construction of admissible, identifiable stochastic models to represent and quantify the impact of parametric and model-form uncertainties in computational science and engineering.
BIO: JOHANN GUILLEMINOT is the Paul Ruffin Scarborough Associate Professor of Engineering and an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Duke. He joined Duke in July 2017. Prior to that, he held a Maître de Conférences position in the Multiscale Modeling and Simulation Laboratory (UMR CNRS) at Université Paris-Est in France. He earned an MS (2005) and PhD (2008) the University of Lille 1 Science and Technology (France).
