Ruby-throated hummingbirds are a delight in your garden, migrating to North Carolina in April and departing south in early October, and providing key pollination services. In this online presentation, Neeti Bathala, professor, author, gardener and graduate of the Nicholas School of the Environment, will introduce you to gardening choices that supply both food and habitat, covering native plants, cultivars and exotic plants that will attract hummingbirds as well as other pollinators. This is a virtual program on Zoom; separate Zoom registration will be required to receive meeting link.
