Beth Hall Hoffman

Join Beth Hall Hoffman, plant collections manager at Duke Gardens, on a walk through the Gardens to learn about different techniques and necessary materials for propagating plants. Learn which propagation techniques work best for plants you encounter along the way. You'll leave knowing how to turn one plant into many in your own environment, whether through taking a cutting, making a division, grafting or growing from seed. Everyone will take home cuttings to root at home. Meet at the Doris Duke Center.

Fee: $32; 20% discount for Duke Gardens members with discount code. Registration is at https://rsvp.duke.edu/g1nKqO. Duke Gardens, Duke University, 420 Anderson St., Durham, N.C., 27705. gardens.duke.edu. Information: 919-668-1707, gardenseducation@duke.edu
