Duke Digital Venture Challenge Kickoff Information Session

Join us for an information session to learn more about participating in the Duke Digital Venture Challenge (DVC), a technology venture competition hosted by the Pratt School of Engineering and open to all Duke students regardless of major. In the DVC students work on teams to ideate, design and build a software-based product (in one of the following categories: sustainability, education, health and wellness, or lifestyle) and develop a business plan for the venture. Participating students will have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the process of designing and building a product to solve a real-world problem and developing a plan to create a sustainably profitable business around it.

The information session will include a presentation and Q&A about the DVC as well as networking time to engage with other students interested in software entrepreneurship. All students are welcome even if they are not currently working on a venture or have a product idea themselves. Pizza and soft drinks will be served.
