Voice Masterclass with Meris Robinson: Classical Training for Musical Theatre Singing

Meris Robinson is an Adjunct Professor of Musical Theatre Voice with UNC Greensboro's School of Theatre. She has over a decade of experience teaching musical theater, classical, and contemporary commercial singing to students of all ages. She has helped students prepare for successful auditions leading to them receiving prominent roles with professional companies. Her students consistently win or place in local, state, and regional competitions, and her students have gained admittance to competitive college and high school training programs. Many of her previous students are currently pursuing professional careers in theater and music.
Ms. Robinson is on the board of the Chapel Hill based Stone Soup Theatre Company. She is currently coaching singers for their production of Into the Woods. As co-founder of Chapel Hill School of Musical Arts' Broadway in Concert series, she directed, music directed, and coached students in these productions. Her productions with Broadway in Concert include Little Women and A Little Princess: The Musical.
Meris Robinson's training includes Bachelors and Masters degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and another Masters degree in voice performance from UNC-Greensboro.
