Non-Linear Trajectories: A conversation with G.L. Genco, Founder of Generation Conscious

G.L. is a first generation Trinidadian-Chinese college graduate who grew up near 9 waste transfer stations in Jamaica, Queens, NYC. As a result of his proximity to these waste facilities, he contracted Asthma.

He started Generation Conscious to change the culture of consumption in America by implementing zero waste infrastructures that make refilling more affordable, accessible, and cool than mass market equivalents.

He'll share his journey from starting on the High Yield Credit Trading Desk at UBS to switching careers and launching a global worker cooperative that collaborated with artists like Playboi Carti, Kali Uchis, Metro Boomin, Virgil Abloh and more.
