The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) is hosting this special presentation. This event will acknowledge the 50th anniversary of the end of the United States Public Health Service Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male at Tuskegee & Macon County, Alabama, 1932-1972.
This program will examine what happened, how and why it happened, lessons learned, the palpable efforts still felt today and the CDC's ongoing role in addressing health equity.
