Thursdays at the Nasher: Movie Night (Red Tails)
Sponsor(s): Nasher Museum of Art
Cost: Free and open to all
Grab a friend and meet us at the Nasher Museum for a movie night! Red Tails (2012, directed by Anthony Hemingway and George Lucas, 2 hours 37 minutes) tells the World War II story of the experimental Tuskegee training program. These courageous Black pilots are waging two wars at once-one against enemies overseas and the other against discrimination within the military and back home. This movie will give us deeper insight into Jim McDowell's work Red Tails now on view in our exhibition Love & Anarchy.
End the night with dinner at the Nasher Café or order a to-go drink to enjoy in our Great Hall.
