Community Action Day with Book Harvest

Celebrate Duke's commitment to literacy and education by working with Book Harvest to prepare donated books for distribution to the community. Book Harvest is a Durham non-profit organization that "provides an abundance of books and ongoing literacy support to families and their children from birth and serves as a model for communities committed to ensuring that children are lifelong readers and learners." (https://www.bookharvest.org/mission-vision-and-values) This event is sponsored by Duke Service-Learning and is part of the Context & Connections Series that provides immersive experiences in Durham for Duke faculty, staff, students and alumni.
