Design Basics: Japanese Garden Design Strategies

Join this in-person and entirely outdoor class with Eli Feldman, Ruth Mary Meyer Japanese Garden Horticulturist, Culberson Asiatic Arboretum at Duke Gardens, and learn more about design strategies commonly used in Japanese garden design. Participants will gather at the Doris Duke Center to meet Eli and walk to the arboretum. Discuss which design strategies he finds most effective in this garden area and how they may translate into your own garden. The walk will conclude in the Gardens so you may continue to explore on your own.
