8 Nights of Hanukkah with Jewish Life at Duke: Hanukkah Shabbat Service & Dinner

Join Jewish Life at Duke for each of the eight nights of Hanukkah as we light the Hanukkah candles with our Duke community, featuring fun themes, treats, and special guests! All events will begin with Hanukkah blessings and candle lighting. Bring your own menorah/candles or use ours!

On Friday, December 3, join us at the Freeman Center for Jewish Life to celebrate Hanukkah and Shabbat. At 5:30pm, we will start with Shabbat Shira (song session). At 6:00pm, we will have a Kabbalat Shabbat Service together, followed by 7:00pm kosher Shabbat dinner, free for students, served by the Freeman Center Cafe. Come for any portion or all of the evening.

Students, please register for Shabbat dinner by Wednesday, December 1, at www.tinyurl.com/DukeShabbat2021.

All events take place at the Freeman Center unless otherwise listed below. More info: www.tinyurl.com/DukeLights21
