Chamber Music Masterclass with Frautschi / Manasse / Nakamatsu Trio

The Frautschi / Manasse / Nakamatsu Trio is Jennifer Frautschi, violin; Jon Manasse, clarinet; and Jon Nakamatsu, piano. Frautschi is a two-time GRAMMY nominee who has appeared as soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony. Manasse is former principal clarinet of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and one of this generation's most celebrated clarinetists. Nakamatsu is a gold medalist in both the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition as well as the United States National Chopin Piano Competition.

Duke Music masterclasses are free and open to the public. This masterclass is presented in association with Duke Performances, presenting The Frautschi / Manasse / Nakamatsu Trio in concert at 8 pm on March 19 as part of the Chamber Arts Series.
