A program of Beethoven trios for violin, cello, and fortepiano.

Gabriel Richard has been First Violin at the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine, Violin Soloist at the Opéra de Lyon, and First Violin at the Paris Orchestra, as well as First Violin of the Thymos String Quartet. He tours regularly in Japan, Korea, China, America, and Europe. He is Associate Research Professor in the Department of Romance Studies at Duke University, where he also teaches in the Music Department's Chamber Music Program.

Jaap ter Linden is on the faculty of the Department of Music at Case Western Reserve University. He has a long history in the historical performance world as a cellist, gambist and conductor. His many tours have taken him throughout Europe, Japan, Australia, and the United States.

Pianist David Breitman directs the Historical Performance Program at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. He is equally at home with the fortepiano and the modern piano, and enjoys both solo and ensemble playing. Recent seasons have included Beethoven's Fourth Concerto and Choral Fantasy on both historical and modern pianos, and several performances at the renowned Cobbe Collection of historical instruments outside of London.
