Rachel Carson's Legacy and Environmental Justice in North Carolina
Please join the Nicholas School of the Environment on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, for a public presentation on Rachel Carson's Legacy and Environmental Justice in North Carolina, presented by Dr. Robert K. Musil in Love Auditorium (Levine Science Research Center, B Wing). A public reception begins at 5:15 PM and will be followed by the public presentation from 6:15 PM - 7:30. The presentation will include an opportunity to ask questions.
Robert K. Musil, PhD, MPH is the President and CEO of the Rachel Carson Council, the legacy environmental organization envisioned by Rachel Carson and founded in 1965 by her closest friends and colleagues. Bob speaks widely at colleges and universities, leads RCC campaigns on global climate change and environmental justice, and is a leading advocate on Capitol Hill.
