Medieval and Renaissance Studies Roundtable: Job Search Tales from the Trenches

This roundtable discussion features recent or current graduates affiliated with Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Chandler Fry (English), Joanna Murdoch (English), Libbie Schrader (Religion), Nick Smolenski (Music), and Erin Zoutendam (Religion) will candidly share their varied experiences and advice about contending with the current job market, ranging from tenure-track jobs to community college teaching, postdoctoral fellowships, and other kinds of academic and nonacademic employment.

The event is also a sponsored social for graduate students in the program. Everyone is invited to dinner following the roundtable at Geer Street Garden in downtown Durham.
