Wrongfully Convicted Speaker Panel

Speaker event with the purpose of sparking deep conversation around the history of policing, mass incarceration, and wrongful convictions in the US. The event will feature key speaker John Bunn, a man who was wrongfully convicted of murder when he was only 14 years old. Mr. Bunn spent over 16 years in prison and nearly 12 years on parole before he was exonerated. His story has been featured in CNN, as well as several other media outlets. Alongside Mr. Bunn, the event will feature Mark Anthony Neal, a distinguished Duke Professor; Kristin Hennings, an author and Georgetown Law Professor; and Kristen Jon Foy, the CEO of The Arc of Justice. Our speakers have expertise in the fields of law, activism, academia, and entrepreneurship and will provide unique insights to these complex issues in this panel conversation.
