They hail from the marshlands of Eastern NC where they've hosted the Gloucester Mardi Gras for thirty years and the Wild Caught Local Seafood and Music Festival for a decade. Unknown Tongues has played dances and festivals throughout the region, from the Low Country Cajun Festival of Charleston, SC to the Appalachian String Band Festival in West Virginia. The band is made up of Bryan Blake on fiddle, accordion, and pedal steel, Barbara Blake on guitar and rubboard, Todd Humphreys on bass, and Tom Parker on drums.
